Trusz in Control at Dalby
Christian Trusz #816 and his CBT Racing crew have dominated day one at the PDS Dalby Short Course, completing today’s five laps with a 1.10 minute lead in their Class 8 Nissan Patrol.
Trusz who finished third outright at Dalby last season holds a significant advantage over defending champion Richard Tassin #691 heading into Sunday. Tyler Youman #427 carried on his strong 2024 form to cross in third, 42 seconds adrift of Tassin.
Russell Hartnett #1012 and Darren Barker #611 launched their Dalby assaults in fourth and fifth respectively, with just two seconds separating the pair on Saturday.
Class 1 hard charger David Loughnan #104, Jan Kraaj #1140, Darren Brandon #689s, Mark Andrew #295, Lachlan Buchanan #6640, Jack Huxstep #711 and Toby Musico #6688 all head their respective classes.
39 crews completed today’s five laps of the technical Dalby layout, with notables not to finish including Stuart Chapman #815, Kane Prechelt #694, Lochlan Waters #699, Steven Orr #1051, Tony Dalton #849, and Rob Stieber #1082.
Action resumes tomorrow morning at 8.30am, where early afternoon a brand new PDS Dalby Short Course champion will be crowned.
